Middle Adults! You’re invited to an Isaiah 25 Resurrection Feast on April 19th from 6pm-10pm at the Junior League of Memphis. Isaiah 25 informs us that when Jesus returns he will plan a feast in celebration of death being swallowed up forever! This feast, that Jesus will host, will be full of rich food, well-aged wine, laughter, worship, and rejoicing. We will mock death and celebrate its end as our God swallows it up forever; “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” “It will be said on that day, “Behold this is our God, we have waited for him, that he might save us. This is the LORD; we have waited for him; let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation.” What might that be like? I’m not entirely sure. But what I do know is,…it will be glorious. A feast to end all feasts. A day of worship, rejoicing, and feasting that will never end as we celebrate Jesus’ return and the salvation he has prepared for us. That is what our God has planned for us in the Wedding Supper of the Lamb…nothing less. In light of this truth, we are planning an Isaiah 25 Resurrection Feast that we hope will give you a glimpse of what that day might be like. The cost will be $80 per couple or $40 for an individual. It will be a night of fellowship, liturgy, feasting, laughter, and worship as we anticipate Easter Morning and Jesus’ Resurrection. Come join us as we rest in the promises of that glorious day and celebrate our Saviors triumph over death together. We realize this to be an expensive night with the cost of the event and babysitting. Please don’t let the cost be a reason you don’t join us.
